I may need to try the butter with sesame oil. Not using MSG. My rice doesn’t come out flavorful.

You NEED MSG! MSG is the ultimate flavour enhancer. It's like background salt, it sits in the back making everything taste more like themselves, while table salt sits in the front allowing you to taste the complete dish. I hope that makes sense.

Also, what rice are you using? Easycook rice or pre fluffed rice doesnt really work, It also has a weird taste. Try Basmati if you're not already.

Can’t ever get my fried rice right. I use day old rice but something I’m doing still isn’t right. Any tips,

honestly you need a carbon steel wok. It give it that proper sear and texture that you just won't get in your regular nonstick. Stainless steel is the next best but even that is only so good.

Rice doesn't even need to be day old I've gotten away with making fresh rice and tossing it in a zip lock in the freezer for an hour. I only use Thai Jasmine rice though

Seasame oil
Ginger
Onion
Eggs
Soy sauce(preferably sweet soy sauce)
Oyster sauce
Scallion/green onion for garnish

And if course your regular salt/pepper

we don’t have to meet but if you’d be willing to leave a plate of food on a random street intersection in your city then I’d be fine with that...just let me know what day/time you’ll leave the plate :ohlawd:

This is how you make Jerk Chicken for my non Jamaican brothers out there.

:wow:

The seasoning looks good. If ur gonna do the jerk chicken and go through all the seasoning process, might as well just fling it on the grill and make it authentic. Just throw some dried all spice berries onto the coals and cook the meat over indirect heat.
