Nah that ain't no ex, you keep that till death do you part:takedat:.

@Caca-faat Do you marinade your chicken? All I do is meal prep boneless skinless breasts and they come out right, but when I reheat them the next day they be bland. All the flavor be gone:dahell: Think I need to hop in the marinating game.
I eat a lot of boneless skinless breasts. It takes a little longer but it’s worth it to wet brine them for 4-5 hours.

If I’m doing food prep. I’ll brine them in the morning. Then in mid afternoon pound them out flat so it’s all the same thickness. Then marinade until I’m ready to cook them that night for dinner, then have the rest as leftovers for the week.

As i said - takes a little longer but keeps the breasts juicy and flavorful even after reheating.

My two favorite marinades at right now

1 can of coconut milk
3 cloves of garlic grated
1 big 3" chunk of ginger grated
1 tablespoon of honey
2 tablespoons of red thai chili paste
Juice and zest of 1 juicy lime (2 if the limes are small)
splash of a neutral oil
big pinch of salt

I use a blender for this one:
- Blend up half a medium onion, 1 jalepeno, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 can of chipotle peppers
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 1/4 cup of white vinegar
-Juice and zest of 1 juicy lime
- Tablespoon of cumin,coriander, chilipowder
- big pinch of salt
- 1 big bunch of cilantro

Then I just grill the chicken. I also bring both of the remaining marinade to a boil and reduce it down a little bit and use it as a sauce for the rice or quinoa

Oh i know.
Once i began having to feed to myself years and years ago it was over.
Glad i got to try out things i know growing up i never would

We are shaped so much by our parents taste,if they don't like fish for example, you never really grow up having it, and even if they do cook it for you its rushed because there is no love in it. Same with vegetables, you may have grown up with your parents boiling the dear life out of broccoli till its a soggy mess. But have u ever had sliced brocolli panfried with a teeny bit of oil and a sprinkling of salt, delicious! Or even oven roasted broccoli or just oven roasted carrots beets, red onions, squash, tomatoes, bell peppers. Thats a whole side right there. Tossed in some cous cous! Hell yeah:feedme:
