I use stainless steel with hopes of adding a few copper to my collection.
Stainless Steel
It's nonreactive, which means you can cook any type of food in it. The downside is that most inexpensive brands have poor heat distribution. If you decide to go with this option I would suggest buying one with an inner aluminum or copper core.
T-Fal, Cuisinart, or All-Clad
Copper
It has good thermal conductivity which means it cooks food evenly. but I wouldn't suggest it for everyday use. The downside is that it reacts with alkaline and acidic foods, which can cause a metallic taste. Also if you cook light coloured foods it will leave grey streaks. If you decided on this option I would get one with a stainless steel lining.
Aluminum
It has good thermal conductivity and it's also lightweight and inexpensive. Like the copper, it's reactive to alkaline and acidic foods. Because the metal is soft it's not ideal for high heats and can scratch easily.
Cast-Iron
It retains and distributes heat evenly. Also reacts with alkaline or acidic foods.

as for brands: Le Creuset makes great crockpots and dutch ovens, Swiss Diamond is reasonably priced, and Caphalon as well.. depends on how much you're trying to spend honestly..

Get you some hot dogs, some ramen noodles, and some fresh thyme. Whip em all together and eat like a king breh
made another cheesecake for the girls at my job. Try to keep their spirits up, make them feel appreciated. lol
I know it looks identical to the other one, but I live around a bunch of closed minded people. No offense to them, it's just how it is. If I did something with even apples, they prolly wouldn't touch it.

Reminds me of this lady at my work but she's a bit more adventurous than you. She eats chicken breast, boiled potatoes, and carrots every day for dinner, regardless of what we have on the menu.
Don't you get tired of eating the same thing?

thats actually not bad.. alot of carbs, and turkey bacon is whats up..

to be honest
i just dont feel like cooking
esp since it is just me here most of the time
when my girl was living with me for a min she would cook
and i would sometimes
but now
after i get back from the gym
i just dont feel like worrying about that shyt
so i just make a big pot of brown rice and mixed vegtables and work that for the week
and just toss 2 strips of turkey bacon
i be watching the food channel and live vicariously through them when im eating my bland ass meal
