man mental illness scares the fukk out of me. heartbreaking story. imagine just being unlucky and having a kid like that.. the fukk man.. waking up everyday thinking you shoulda got a fukkin abortion...

One of the comments in here made me think back to middle school/ high school I went to relatively small schools and everyone always knew the emotional disturbed kids who were always on the verge of snapping. It was pretty fukked up and scary thinking back on it. I'm sure everyone had a simliar experience.

basically in the 50's 60's and even 70's people were round up, a lot of homeless people too, declared mentally ill given meds and kept in these 'jails' around the 80s they started tearing down these jails because cities wanted to clean up that area or build there.
think of project housing or a project apartment building with nothing but mentally ill folks whos families dont care to visit or see them.
The landlords made cake cause they were paid by the city and by federal money kind of like foster care. The conditions that these mentally ill people lived in were good for nearly a dog, although they were sheltered and had food, activities and such but lots of mistreatment and such.
