That's another term I don't like for two reasons.

1) the fear of God was instilled into blacks by the white man, who then gave blacks a white man to fear/praise

2) in true spirituality there is no need to Fear God, as we are a part of his being.

One of my ancestors, Benjamin Thomas, was a black Confederate cook, and I do not want to turn my back on his service to the South. So I hang the flag in honor of his hard work and dedication to South Carolina during the Civil War.
