A lot of those houses are built to withstand hurricane speeds, at least those of i know in Florida

We paid more for hurricane impact windows, not all houses have them but most do here in Florida

I'm still boarding up though

Tyndall AFB received significant damage from Hurricane Michael, the eye went directly over the base

Eglin AFB received significant damage from Hurricane Ivan and Hurricane Opal
the North Florida/Coastal Georgia coasts don't really get hit all that often due to the fact that we are relatively tucked in, our friends in the Carolina seem to get hit way more often than we do unfortunately do to the way that they stick out along the coast line

Fukkin look at this
everyone is talking about Biden vs Trump, we gotta get trump out of office

But fukkin watch this!!!!!!!!!!

This is just the beggining, every year it will get worse
We need to address climate change IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
We also need to end the wars, end corruption and stop bailing out the rich ASAP
We need that money for emergency services and better city preperation for floods and natual disasters
It ain't gonna get better, it will only get worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neither Trump nor Biden will take Climate change seriously
scratch that, neither the Republicans nor Democrats will take it seriously

think a dam is going to protect you from a category 4 hurricane. What good isnthat going to do if your house is destroyed by the winds. thecoli.com

:dahell:
Very effective for something like Hurricane Harvey that pulled up on our front door Like a Jehovah’s Witness and wouldn’t Fkn leave

Most hurricanes here inland in Houston don’t carry major roof blasting wind by the time it gets this far inland, it’s the rain that kills us because we don’t have zoning laws which meant all the bayous and wetlands we had that were natural resources to prevent floods are completely gone.
