You have a list of areas in which individuals are likely to contract HIV. The list measures entire states and the district of Columbia. DC is a city. Georgia, for example, is an entire state. Doesn't seem like a proper application of statistics considering the sizable population difference between a city and an entire state. You're a smarter guy than that breh.

Shoveling snow >>>> shoveling buildings

That's one thing that keeps me up here
Ive been hearing northerners say this all week like Sandy never happened and new yorks subways werent flooded. Seems like the Northeast gets the worst of both worlds though. Didn't Sandy come through and crush the buildings in oct of 2012, and then by December it started snowing? The northeast has the same gulf streams as the Southeast that make their coastal areas prone to hurricanes. Only "safe" place is the mountain west.

Sandy was a rarity. The Northeast doesn't get hurricanes/tropical storms like that because by the time the system gets north it's weakened to a typical storm or remnants (rain) or it twists it's way to the middle of the north Atlantic where it dies out. Long Island is more susceptible than the rest of the area.

Either way the threat isn't the same as being in the Gulf/Southeast and regularly worrying about Category 3 and 4s.

True....I need to move to Seattle. I'm through with the Eastcoast.
