Google your cityI remember thinking that people were exaggerating with regards to Harveys impact on us. Plenty in my circle felt the same. So much so that I still held my fight party that Saturday night.
All the people that came to that party was trapped at my place for damn near the whole next weekBy grace of God the water came up on the street but kept flowing, so it didn't get in the house. Meanwhile just a few blocks away the houses were flooded badly.

People have been warning about flooding, the infrastructure in houston was horrible. look it up. Miami is not Houston

True story, the mister and I had our first date, several days in Key West.
If anyone has an ipad or long battery life tablet, download a flashlight app. I put this on all of my tablets, even one like 6 yrs old. If it doesn't have a camera or camera with a flash it will illuminate the screen if anyone is unaware. Good to have along with your normal hurricane flashlights, cellphones, etc
