I’m no doomsday prepper but the sheer amount of weather/natural disasters lately all over the country having this on hand for that cost is a very reasonable purchase. I always keep several cases of water in the garage but never thought to get food to go with it

Water can go bad. Should get a purifier. These are things that don't have to be bought all at once, but overtime. When I get my own place, it's Rations, Water Purifier, Generator, and a Crossbow + a couple guns. None of that too hard to obtain
