I love Wu-Tang. They're my favourite group. So, I may be biased, but this season I've played the first run of albums from 93-97/98 for the first time in a while... the creativity and uniqueness of Wu's music back then was just something special. The sound's, the lyrics, the imagery... I'm still hearing new sounds in the production even now that I've missed... That was just a special time that I think despite all the acclaim, people who didn't grow up around that time can't really grasp. Wu-Tang Clan are special. Imagine if this show was out back in the day?!

S3 needs to be shooting now and they need to start making this a 15 ep a season show.. too dope

This episode was 100% pure unadulterated FIRE. RZA was really a visionary and genius for how he masterminded the whole crew’s label deals. Not taking the easy money was the best decision he could’ve made.

I like how GZA don’t be sweating shyt and just comes and goes throughout the season. Dude just be chillin and rapping lol

That's him IRL. RZA once said he's the dude that'll be on the phone on stage...or eating a sandwich.

Cap is in jail. He was the dude that Divine had the Park Hill/Stapleton beef with while inside...but they threw down together during the fight. Cap is also a consultant (Darryl Hill). Of course he's in Protect Ya Neck video IRL, but goes to jail for like a 3-year stint right after.

As for Uey, I really just think he's a grumpy old man and that's always been his personality. He definitely has one of the strongest personalities in the crew...and in my opinion, he's a natural star....even amongst them. He has that aggressive, but charming humor that works. Hell, he got shoutouts from all the NY rappers in the liner notes from jail rep alone. And they were saying he was a grouch before Intell was shot.

Y'all ever hear his podcast? He should've kept it going

Uey's podcast was really dope. Say what you wanna say about U-God but he is an entertaining mothafukka.

On another note, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin buyers were revealed. It looks like that original double disc tracklisting that I have, from over Wu-Tang Corp was correct, which means Shabazz is on like 5 tracks

I wonder if this crew will now release it. YES, they can release it for free. They just can't make it commercially available or reproduce.

I don't want to see any scenes of GZA filming anything. Dude been sitting on footage for 30 years, and we never saw Wu-Tang Revealed. I don't even care that some of it made it to Mics & Men.

I read his book.I think a lot of it has to do with his moms. He was a product of rape. He said his mom was cold towards him. Never hugged him and spoke harshly to him even as a kid.

All that prepared him to torture Vlod on his podcast.

Episode was great. I like how the theme fit perfectly with the song.

I can only imagine how epic these RZA centered episodes would be in the hands of a more capable actor.
