:childplease: It's a fictional universe, that's as good a confirmation as any. A lot of information on Marvel/DC character capabilities come from databook entries not in-comic feats.

No they aren't, you are 100% incorrect.

The information comes from comic feats not comic cards or databooks that list a static and general basis of their powers. Most guide books are not even created in house by the companies. Marvel has been known to use a "class system" in order to rank character abilities. Someon like Ben "The Thing" Grimm is commonly listed in the 85 Ton range, yet he's lifted well over 200 tons in his own title. Hulk is listed at the 100+ class but he's lifted over 1 billion tons.

And since you understand its a fictional universe, you should ALSO understand the point and usage of hyperbole. When a character is listed as "UNSTOPPABLE" it doesn't actually mean he is unstoppable, that's just his tagline. When a character proclaims someone has reached an unbeatable level, it doesn't actually mean they are unbeatable, unless specifically meant to be interpreted that way by the writer.

goku does not kill his enemies. the only one he killed was buu

He killed King Piccolo and tried to kill Frieza and Cell. And he killed a lot of movie villains.

Also, he re-killed Frieza in the new DBZ movie.

Goku will offer to spare his enemies, but he'll kill them if he's forced to. Superman won't kill his enemies, ever.

Tried does not equal did. And we are talking about what's cannon. So goku kill count is low. All you are telling me is goku sucks at killing his foes.

Well, the point isn't whether or not he sucks at it, the point is that Goku is willing to use lethal force if he feels like he has no other choice. Superman (at least in the comics) will NEVER do that.

Basically, the difference between them is that Goku just prefers not to kill (but will as a last resort) whereas Superman literally took a vow to never kill.

So that'll come back to bite him because DBZ villains love to blow up the planet when they get mad and they can't really be imprisoned.

People really undermine Gokus mental prowess. He was a genius when it came to tactical combat and has outsmarted countless of enemies (and friends: see Trunks vs Cell)
He isn't in the topic but Vegeta was brilliant too. The saiyans were definitely competent when the situation called for it.

I clown Vegeta as much as anyone but just off the top, he also knew simply powering up vs Cell wouldn't get the job done and scolded Trunks for even trying.
Vegeta's problem on the battlefield was always his pride and ego, not his mental prowess.
