The only thing I crazily thought was maybe 15 senators would they would convict Trump after what happened. Once that didn’t happen, there was no chance to bring them on board. I didnt fully believe he would get Rs on board to the degree he made it seem but I thought that relationship would be more smooth than it is. I certainly thought he would be able to wrangle all the democrats though and was very much wrong on that. Perhaps that's on me for misreading the composition of senators but it was definitely a part of his pitch to voters in the elections.

It was especially lassoed in during the GA elections with the assumption that winning both seats would enable Biden to get his platform enacted with parts of that platform being influenced by friendly allies yet not exactly direct supporters.

For his other roles as President, he probably waffles between D+ and C for me.

I'm not gonna fault Biden completely but, if he continues with his bipartisan bullshyt trying to find common ground with people who are trying to go scorched earth then he's a moron. It's time to play hard ball like he should have from the jump. Nobody is going to remember Mitch McConnell or Joe Manchin in 100 years...the same way the average person today doesn't know or gaf who was in Congress in the 1910s or the 1810s. But they will remember Biden being a weak President if he doesn't man up. He needs to start ramping up the pressure on Sinema and Manchin in Washington and in their home states, removing them from committees (i dont understand how this hasn't been done yet, Republicans have kicked tons of people off committee assignments for breaking rank ), signing EOs, passing bills via reconciliation and doing whatever he can to win midterms
