Anyone feel like the Biden Presidency is already over?

I think the president’s job is divided into two main buckets. Passing your campaign promises and crisis management.

He failed to pass his agenda, but when your agenda fails to pass, you can still do well by being a good crisis manager. The media did a number on him with his Afghanistan pullout, Omicron came through and crushed the buildings and now Putin is trying to punk him on the world stage.

Horrible first year.

He's right about democracy being unable to survive if folks refuse to form a consensus on legislation that even their constituents want or they've voted on in the past.

He's also correct that there's only two dems holding back his agenda, which is pretty mainstream dem.

They seem to be prioritizing initiatives and working them in that order. I look forward to seeing what fruit that bears now that they feel they have less on their plate.

Year one they passed the Covid relief and BIF.

He's got an uphill battle for year 2.

A lot of what Biden is saying is just theater. I’m surprised ya’ll are eating it up.

Any Dem president would’ve been treated the same as him by republicans and their own party, save Bernie who would’ve gotten slammed into the Earth’s core via anti-communist propaganda. Biden said the things on the campaign trail to get elected, like all presidential candidates do in America. It’s the price of winning the presidency. Treating the presidency as the legislature branch is some real ignorant shyt that happens in America.
