By 2024 republicans will likely control the presidency, House and senate. Biden will accomplish nothing in his term other than a successful covid vaccine rollout which will be forgotten quickly. Hilarious. Real fascism is on its way

You also said trump was winning the 2020 election and how the Gop was going to retain the senate... Neithrt happened and trump was on the ballot.. he won’t be on the ballot in 22 or 24.. Dems retain all congress senate and presidency

This attitude that the Democratic party is somehow some powerless entity against the GOP is pathetic. You're acting like the current POTUS has no ability to lean on 2 members of his own party and get what's stopping his agenda from passing. Especially since his opposition is showing exactly what he should be doing by doing it to him. But but I'm sure Joe really wants all this stuff passed it's just the GOP that's in his way and not his own party. The GOP is the excuse for why his agenda won't be passed when he has 2 senators in his own party who dgaf about what he wants done. Hell Sinema just spit in his face by not even showing up to vote. Just face it, Biden, Schumer and Pelosi are weak and truly will only look out more for corporate donors than us. Hope you like House Speaker Greene, majority leader McConnell next year and POTUS Desantis in 2024. That's what biden's need for bipartisanship and allowing his own party to strip his agenda will get you.
yall giving me these long ass non answers for simple questions. like legit, straightforward simple questions. biden is trash, fine. do you have anyone in mind that would be able to do the job? if you dont thats fine too, i just legit want an answer to an incredibly straightforward question

since nobody has been able to give one, just attack strawmen, im left to assume you have no one in mind

Except Obama did and got viscerated for that, but whatever. A Democrat who goes scorched Earth will cause civil war, either governmentally or actually. That's how bad of a situation we are in being owned by powerful lobbying groups and having Republicans being the worst ideologically. Republican politicians and their voters are giddy for an actual civil war. They believe they are Lincoln. Look at what they do across the country in their shytty states. It's too late.

Anything we do will be used 1000 times worse against us. It's like if you have a 3 year old who has equal co-parenting powers. They are going to try to veto you and go off to eat chocolate cookies for breakfast lunch and dinner while shytting all over your floor.

It was hilarious and sad to me right before covid hit that Biden might win because if Biden wins and doesn't hold a true strong majority in the Senate nothing will get done and Republicans will easily win in 2024. (Nevermind that no other candidate was actually viable - Americans hate women, Jews, gays, and "socialists" - only an ancient white Christian man is acceptable.) If covid didn't hit we would probably have Trump as president right now. Consider that Democrats can't actually fix that. Look at what Obama had in terms of legislative potential in 2009 to 2010 and consider how little that gave us. Republicans then poisoned anything good that came out of those legislative successes for 6+ years. Obama tried to rule by executive order after 2010 and lost a lot of court cases and got the public riled up. Democrats have a true razor thin advantage right now and that's not enough clearly because Manchin and company are Lieberman 2.0.

That being said, some things are getting through. It's just that it won't be nearly enough.

Sorry, but without the Democrats having great legislative powers for a sustained period of time, the country is fukked. You guys are just participating in outrage porn. Well get used to that for the next decade or two as we slide into irrelevance and chaos. Now that Repubs made it clear they are on the gold path towards fascism and decay the country is not getting better.

Btw Biden can't go full Theodore Roosevelt and FDR because national conservatism came into being to counter that and successfully took over. Combined with Trump populism, Christianity, and uneducated racist white dorks...man. This generation is lost.

Not even that covid hit.. if Trump hadn't flubbed his covid response he would still be president.

But yeah..shyts fukked:wow:

Pretty sure I said Trump was winning until COVID hit and then I was fairly positive he was going to lose, I don’t feel like pulling up the receipts. Even if Dems retain everything what they going to do with it? Nothing until the filibuster is gone

:dead:What’s he going to do threaten their family and kids? What is this The Godfather? :mjlol:
:dead:

im genuinely interested in answers for this stuff but the usual suspects keep skating around it

if joe sucks thats fine, but it implies somebody else can get the job done. if that is true, for instance how does (insert yet to be named politician) go about getting manchin, sinemia etc to do what you want. i assume its relatively easy judging by the posts in here

l honestly don't know what Sinema's power play is here.

At least with Manchin, he at least tries to explain his BS. Plus you have the excuse of, "Well he's in a deep red state that voted overwhelmingly for Trump, so he's doing what he has to to keep his seat, and he's better than having a Republican there anyway." That is an absolute BS excuse, but at least there's some effort put into it.

But Sinema I just can't figure out. Biden won her state as well as another Dem senator. Her constituents can't be too happy with her because her favorable rating dropped by double digits after that stunt she pulled with the minimum wage. She'll do shyt like that and taking pictures wearing that ring that said "fukk off" but to my knowledge has never granted a major interview to explain her position. She's almost guaranteed to get primaried when her term is up. She didn't even bother to show up to vote for the Jan 6 commission despite that joint statement with Manchin.

I laughed yesterday when Biden held up that paper with the names of GOP senators who voted down the stimulus but bragged about it in their districts. He needs to do the same for Sinema. You can go on her Twitter right now and literally find dozens of posts of her claiming to support legislation, or demanding Congress get it passed, despite being one of the two biggest roadblocks to getting it passed. This is her from just two days ago:

And nobody's buying this shyt because she's always getting ratio'd.

Like I said before, the only thing she seems to do in the Senate is trolling and ratfukking.

Honestly I think she's just in it for the attention. :beli:

Probably have a talk show or something once she leaves the Senate.

He was chosen because he had the best chance of defeating Trump, not because he would be transformative :yeshrug:

I don’t understand how anyone who voted for Biden can be surprised or disappointed by what we are seeing. This is who he is and has always been.

That said, he’s done a great job so far as president, all things considered.
