Who's giving them a pass? There's no way they are working with Biden. It's easier to get Sinema and Manchin on board than it is to get the GOP on board. Mitch McConnell literally said he's not going to support any legislation that helps the Democratic party. Why don't you guys understand that? You can bash him all day along with every ReThug. They're not going to budge. You could name the capital after Mitch McConnell's mom and he'd still vote no because a Dem did it. The corporate media doesn't care about policy just ratings.
Nice little read if you want to know what exactly is in HR1 and why it's constitutional. It's urgent to get this passed asap, otherwise, I'm skeptical some of these reforms can be implemented before the midterms.
The only thing I see missing from the bill is standardized voting hours. Rethugs in Texas are filing a bill this week to limit voting hours in the most populous counties.
