The results are we still have a democracy. Let’s be real.

The Covid bill will pass. The other stuff, we’ll have to wait and see. If you’re exepcting the Senate to solve all the world’s issues within 2 months, well...:francis:
The problem is the Dems are refusing to use their entire power and yes it's important they pass as much as they can now and strike while the irons hot because we have no clue what will happen the rest of the year. Then you have 2022, which will be election season. Biden has to get Manchin and Sinema to fall in line. He has too otherwise you're saying that potentially the best outcome you got was a watered down Covid relief and executive orders but you failed to deliver on minimum wage, police/ VRA reform, potentially infrastructure, etc? On top of bombing Syria. That isn't going to work especially when the GQP showed you exactly what they were going to do from the beginning. There's zero excuse other than they don't want to pass these things and it was a ploy to get elected. Voters will say other than Trump what's so bad about Republicans because the Dems don't deliver?

So what would you want Biden to do about this? :rudy:

Be the God damn leader he is and use his power and influence that he's said he has to get his agenda done or he's just a geriatric version of Jimmy Carter. If Biden can't use persuasion to get his own party in line he's failed and the Republicans will run the entire government again in 4 years. Timid leadership and failed promises is why the Democratic party rarely wields any control in the last 2 decades

The bill passed :mjlol:

You sound like a 16 year brat from a rich family, pouting because she got a passed down Lexus instead of a brand new Acura :mjlol:

The bill is worth 1.9 trillion and you whining like this is an L. :mjlol:

Biden doesn't run the Senate. When will y'all understand this? The democratic caucus is what it is. Stop trying to blame them for being diverse. If the republicans had someone who stood on principal, this country would be that much better.

Imagine the Republicans letting Lisa Murkowski deebo the whole party :dead:
Republicans don't have a 50+VP majority, the Democrats do. That's the narrowest majority possible and Biden has to walk on a tight rope.

The last time there was a 50+VP majority was in 2001, the Republicans had the majority. But guess what? Bush and the GOP got sh!tted on by Jim Jeffords. Jim Jeffords became an independent and caucused with the Democrats only a few months into Dubya's presidency. Democrats got control of the Senate.
