i support the raise, but the minimum wage is not covid relief. there was no reason to hold up the relief bill with a 5 year wage increase. now it can move through smoothly

Airstrikes happen all the time. Also, literally nobody gave a sh!t about airstrikes under Trump and he did way more than Obama.

The US really has nothing to gain in being in Syria at this point. The US govt has no clear cut strategy for Syria. ISIS is defeated. They can't get rid of Assad because Russia and Iran backs him. The rebellion has largely been defeated. The only rebels left are either sunni jihadist or islamist mercenaries trained by Turkey to fight only the Kurds. Turkey cares more about crushing the Kurds. The US supports the Kurds against ISIS but not enough to help them against Turkey who is a NATO ally. At this point it makes sense to just leave Syria all together because the objective to defeat ISIS is done. There is really no reason to be in Syria because the US has no reliable forces on the ground that can determine the future of Syria. The real power players of Syria is Russia,Iran and Turkey not the US.
