Not like the political junkies do.

And what's wrong with Iowa? If you're going to choose SC why not MS as there is a ton of black people there too.
MS hasn't been as pivotal as SC

Plus, SC was already 4th. It's not like it going 1st is so mind blowing.

Early voting was basically already happening by the time IOWA happened

SC is just as red in the national election. And Iowa and New Hampshire gave a great cross section of the entire country. You're right about early voting, which means there was no reason what so ever to switch states.

This is not investing in the south, it's moving one state around to kill a primary challenge.

SC is still a republican state. A right to work state.

so?

thats the republicans fault, not democrats

And the DNC even adopted a rule to revisit the order in 2028.

Look, progressives are gonna have to figure out how to win shyt instead of complaining every time yall can't bully people in caucuses that themselves have proven to be clusterfukks even in an increasingly technological age designed to mitigate all these errors.

So their dem voters should be receptive of pro labor messaging for the American left.

All this move does is force progressives to get out there and campaign earlier for black voters. If they win the nomination they’ll be in a much better position to win the general for this reason.
