Dems need to go in on this cock sucker… the audacity of this clown when he has never done shyt for WV but advance the coal industry interest

If the dems can magically expand their hold in the senate, I think a whole lot of them will let it be known what they think of him. Problem is.. they're at his mercy right now. Imagine if that POS decided to flip his party affiliation right now. That would outright give the repubs the majority.

I'm honestly surprised more politicians like Machin aren't threatened, or have had moves made on their lives. These reckless decisions being made by him and people like him are literally affecting peoples lives.. for the worst. I can only imagine how many people have hit rock bottom because of them.

Wonder how far this will affect the pollution problem as ethanol blends are more smoggy.
wasn’t aware of that, very interesting
The article you linked said it’s not good for the environment and linked to an article saying why:

Some environmental advocates said privately Tuesday they were not pleased with the temporary waiver given concerns that burning ethanol worsens air pollution. But several said they are tempering their criticism in hopes that the waiver will not become permanent.

One thing Trump did do was go at the necks of people in his own party. Manchin knows Joe ain't gonna say shyt just like you pointed out cuz he can blow everything up whenever he wants. Dems are in a very fragile spot.

Thats why November is gonna be so important. Voters came out in record breaking numbers in 2020.. and they voted for change. While some change has happened, all the stress of Covid, and inflation.. and all that shyt.. its got those same people on edge. They're wondering why more hasn't been done. So I'm hoping them thinking that way doesn't keep them home this November.

It's why I think something so popular like the student loan forgiveness is gonna be granted somehow. Right before the mid terms. It would be suicidal not to go through with it.

I don’t think loan forgiveness will save them. Nor will it be enough because people are so upset about gas and inflation. They will take it out on dems no matter what. And Joe just doesn't seem serious about loan forgiveness leaving it to congress which he knows ain't gonna pass shyt. Months are flying by and before you know it he'll be getting impeached by the new house.

Capitalism is hilarious...lets take advantage of the fact that consumers have temporary access to additional currency to meet the cost of living that we helped drive up. Yet scream "oh noooooes!" inflation when that temporary access is removed and our price hikes which were meant to increase our profits, are still in place.

Inflation is a problem at the moment because EVERYONE including corporations took advantage of stimuls and relief money flooding the economy and there was no plan to dial any of it back before the spigot got turned off.

We're seeing the same thing in the energy sector right now with the exploitation of the Ukraine war and Russian energy sanctions. Price of a barrel is stable yet, pump prices gradually increasing.

Irresponsible capitalism.

How is that irresponsible capitalism? That is capitalism. That's what it is supposed to do.

Yes, in normal times. It's irresponsible because there was awareness of when the stimulus to the economy would cease, meaning that the increased prices of goods and services would have the opposite effect. Thus accelerating the percentage of inflation.

It’s crazy, I saw Schumer and my congressperson at a local event and there was barely any noticeable security for them.

you figure people gonna get desperate eventually, politicians and corporations are creating an issue
