I guess for the average person...I'm grandfathered in to a lot of extras with AT&T, even out of contract, a comparable plan comes up to more than what I pay. And as I already said, I don't really care about the "freedom" because I have no reason to switch from AT&T (at the moment). Service works fine and having a sim makes international travel easier
It's all good. All this proves is that there a different things for different ppl and not everyone is gonna want, need or do the same things.
I personally like the freedom of having a fully unlocked phone off contract. I find it cheaper to buy a local sim then it is to roam when I travel. And I have the leverage to get better deals from my carrier to maintain my business.
but I've also (in the past) enjoyed having a (partially)subsidized or "financed" phone from the carrier when I didn't have as much money.
but it's the same thing with these phones. so many ppl are making a big deal about this aux port...most of who don't even own an iPhone now or don't have plans to buy one in the future. so why even argue?
I also find it laughable about ppl calling iPhone owners or apple fans "sheep". It's very sheep like to jump on the anti-apple bandwagon, especially when most of the arguments are BS, and ride for some other "large business conglomerate that doesn't give a fukk about you either" like Samsung or Sony or Microsoft.
either you get with the times, or get out of the way. If the world sees the 1/8" port going away then you get with it or stay with what you have. no need to cry about it like some 80 year old talking about "well in my day we didn't need color tvs, we listened to the radio for our entertainment"
