HOW WILL APPLE REMOVING THE AUX CORD AFFECT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY???

I just want to say here and now that the whole blutooth /aux has it's upsides and downsides there's nothing wrong with it but sometimes it takes too long to pair in some cars. and the aux is just plug and play. Apple has done y'all muthafukkas a disservice by taking AWAY the 3.5 jack... and muthafukkas here are still defending this stupid ass choice. the phone is huge is fukking hell and they simply just got bored and wanted to be fukking lazy and was like hey we'll just run everything through the fukking charging port and it's cool. until that shyt breaks and you cant charge the shyt anymore. or it has a short of some sort in that stupid ass connecting wire then you have to shell out $30 for a new one.

The first G1 didn't have a jack and came with a USB to 3.5 adapter. They never did that again.

why do you people talk like its on Bluetooth and aux as an option?

you can connect your iphone to the car direct using an apple connection or apple usb

We aren't the majority as far music consumers unfortunately, the majority of the population doesn't give a shyt about the levels "audio quality"' that those of us with decently trained ears here do.

People will complain and get their memes and jokes off because something got taken away that a LOT of folks don't even use and then they'll accept/adapt.

It's not an excuse and like others were told, just because samsung chooses to do it that way, doesn't mean apple has to. For all you know samsung has a patent that apple cannot copy with out being sued

Off GP this is a horrible move, they changed their charge ports for no reason, they remove USB ports for no reason, the same with Ethernet. Them nikkas is feeling themselves I wouldn't be surprised if they sit in meetings and be like
I bet we can remove the aux port and get away with it just to show how much power and influence they have over the industry. As a proud iPhone, iPad Mac book and airport owner I am seriously thinking about not getting this phone until the industry catch up or they give me free beats to go with my phone.

Honestly, with all the hate and arguing. At the end of the day the absolute best way to get the best sound out of your phone in your car is just hooking it up through USB where it will charge and play the best quality.

if you don't have a USB in your car, it would really be in your best interest to upgrade your sound system to a head unit that accepts USB(which can be had for under $100 or even under $150 for a double din)

I respect those that have older cars to. I don't see the need to buy a new car just for the sake of having a new car. But even an older car can take a $100 head unit to give you a better in car experience.

This isn't the first time apple has fukked with the 3.5m jack. You guys Remember the iPhone 1-2? They had custom grooves for the headphone slot that were much thinner than the industry standard, meaning only iPhone headphones would work on them.

That was a terrible idea and they scrapped it for the iPhone3.

I believe this will be a similar story

because aux is terrible breh, and you do have options, you can connect via Bluetooth or via usb
