I still drive my '05 Impala with an updated Kenwood stereo that has Bluetooth, but that Bluetooth sound quality is TRASH! I rock with the AUX cord all day!

you can remove the optical drive from any notebook and replace it with something else. back in the day, laptops couldn't accomodate the 3.5" floppy and the cd rom, so they were regularly swapped out.

Yeah but nobody cares what Motorola does. And they still have the headphone jack on all their other products, including iterations of the Moto Z prolly due to shook bureaucrats in the company scared of too much change. So it's only limited to what, a million phones? Apple doesn't care about any of that--they'll kill the headphone jack in everything they make and won't think twice about it. Soon there'll be hundreds of millions of iDevices without headphone jacks, and customers with lots of money ready to pay for new solutions. That's how Apple bends industries to their will.
