I did some research on POF, the site doesn't show the whole database to everyone. You only see who the software lets you see. Being that, every preference you set actually harms you and every click counts.

Two days ago I went in and clicked on like 30 random Asian girls and now my meet me and views have nothing but Asian girls. I initially did this with mixed girls but they don't view or message me. Probably because they get 200 messages a day or whatever.

Naturally POF wants you to date within your race and will skew your results that way. You have to make sure you're clicking on what you want and it will show you outisde your set race. That, or you could just set your race to mixed or something. I've even seen black girls set their race to white for this very reason.

I personally don't click on white girls at all but I get white girls viewing me or clicking meet me, which lets me know they are searching for brothers and the software just isn't showing them me because I viewed them. There's more to it but that's what I learned so far.
