Now let’s focus back on the historical nature of the Qurans development instead the theology that was later created to support it.

Because if we can’t agree on some objective historical account of history, what’s the point in even having a discussion.

There’s many issues I have with Muslims claiming they don’t “worship Muhammad” because their actions suggest otherwise

For example,

Why must the shahada include Muhammad’s name in it?

Is belief in Muhammad required to get forgiveness of sins?

No.

Why aren’t Jews accepted in Islam if they believe in 1 god but don’t “believe” in Muhammad?

God is more important than Muhammad

And according to Muslims the Quran was sent to the Arabs and in Arabic so ARABS could understand it NOT Jews.

So why would anyone NOT Arab need to acknowledge Muhammad much less respect him ?

Especially Christians who have a BETTER example and the original teachings from God through Jesus who Muslims believe to be the actual “word of God” pure straight from the source

Seems like the only distinguishing factor of Islam is Muhammad and the entire religion anchors on him being the centerpiece of faith

But Muslims place him in a status as the one man above ALL MANKIND if I’m not mistaken

This type of belief is basically adjacent to worship and not to mention the deification of “Muhammads” words, teachings, life and everything he did in the Hadith stories, and his biography/folklore

For breakfast?

If Muhammad advocates for something as crazy as drinking camel piss, why would anyone follow him in doing it…… unless they worship him?

Despite all the nasty, evil, racist, sexist and literally demonic things written about Muhammad that secular and Muslim scholars claim he has done, Muslims love him unconditionally.

In Islam he is above criticism or even above the Law in some cases

He can murder, rape, marry his step brothers wife with impunity.

He wears women clothing and bathes in feces but no Muslims see issue with it?

Muslims will kill to protect and defend him when he was arguably a bigger sinner than you and me combined

So it’s just a weird relationship you Muslims have with Muhammad isn’t logical, rational or even biblical.

Clearly at some point Muhammad was elevated to something other than a regular human or even prophet…. Over time becoming just sort of a divine being or at the least some type of mythological figure or Arab superhero

All this points to why early Muslims were referred to Mohammadeans

The Quran might not teach Muhammad worship but Muslims hold him higher than some Christians hold Jesus who is actually considered to be God.

Like why is it even ok to have images/movies song’s referencing Jesus (who the Quran says didn’t sin) and not Muhammad?

One question Muslims have never been able to answer to my face.

Muhammad isn’t treated like a regular prophet or even any major figure in comparison with all the other Bible figures who make up the majority of the Quran

Mind you, Muhammad is only referenced FOUR times at most in the Quran

Prophet Muhammed is the seal of the Prophets. We believe he is the final messenger and received the final revelation i.e. the Qu'ran from Gabriel over years. Of course he isn't mentioned as the Qur'an that much! It was being revealed during his lifetime from his 40s until his 60s when he passed.

And Moses is the most mentioned Prophet in the Qur'an. Jesus is mentioned plenty and theres a whole chapter named after his mother.

Before Muhammad Mani was referred to as the “seal of the prophets”

This term was understood as being one with the Bible prophets before him.

It was a statement of legitimacy

Many people claimed to be prophets back then.

It was a hustle.

The historical “Muhammad” was probably no different

Being successful at war and gaining followers doesn’t automatically make you a “prophet” or the “last prophet”

And calling yourself the “last prophet” isn’t possible logically. Where’s the proof?

Muslims gave him that title well after he died to legitimize the religion

And anyways if Mani was the “seal of prophets” (meaning the final one) and he came hundreds of years before Muhammad then that means logically Muhammad couldn’t have also been the “seal of prophets” and wouldn’t have used that title.

Unless of course the Muhammad legend absorbed aspects of Manichean teachings/beliefs and made its way into the Quran/Hadiths hundreds of years later after people forgot about Mani
