I think one of Chucky's biggest weapons was not letting you know he was alive until you was half sleep.
this!
this is what people in here fail to realize.
talking all this scared business!
them people in that movie was just going about their business. "oh Andy just in his room fukkin around with Chucky. He good!"
little did they know, he's Charles Lee Ray, and when they least expect that shyt...

BOOM!!!!!

Chucky in that ass with a stupid lookin Final Fantasy sword lookin knife!
:snoop:

BEST PART OF THEM CHUCKY MOVIES IS WHEN SOME JUST SLANG THAT DUDE ACROSS THE ROOM...

Rag doll is one of my favorite comedic film gags.

From chuck to bud bundy gets slung around the room is crippling tear based laughter for me.
Especially if the rag dolls one arm is flailing in the wind when it is tossed.
I wish someone could find the married with children episode clip gif.
when they go to the movies and bud gets tossed in the seating arrangement as a rag doll.

Chucky in real life tho.
:lupe:

I always be like, "man I would just shoot his lil ass!"

But that bytch fast tho!
:ooh:

Ida been shot my tv, graze my son, bullets rippin thru the walls!

CHUCKY actually was pretty elusive and quick tho.
If you go watch the movies back, he could get little and find a crevice fast as hell to get ducked off in and replan his next attack.

Usually he popped out of a damn good hiding place when he did this too.
I think I said it before, but child'sz play was the last well written and psychology based horror films of that era. It is pretty much the precursor before full on idiot slasher became the model for all of horror because of rhe draw and resulting gate box office return.

Before the slasher became new line cinema based fluff.
There used to be a higher quality movie presented for these horror film franchises.

Which is why they were so iconic and they had so many sequels.
As rhe sequels had a higher astute level of psychology to erode via their declining quality and through that made their shelf life limited but longer in the grand scheme.
As the high quality cliff the later sequels and genre was built from.
Was built with enough high quality that it created distance and wiggle room in declining quality.
to keep the draw of the property and crowd interest in severe declining quality based ideals coming back.

I tell u what had me scared as a kid. That damn thriller video and tales from the crypt.

Thriller is the worst video for a kid to be introduced to zombies ever.

This was the first vid nikkaz in the hood liked to flodge on.
like they were not terrified but they were.

Tell that to my older brother lmao. My mom said he was so hysterically terrified of the poster for the original one at the train station in NYC that she needed some random dudes to help her carry him out :russ:

This.

If you were cognitive in this era and small enough to be able to play with my buddy, teddy rux, shirt tales, wuzzles, poppables, get along game or my pet monster.
Of which all had cartoons and were all beloved on a level.
that is not seen now or since then for dolls or toys.
You easily were shook of this idea if you were younger.
Luckily I was a bit older but not that far removed so I understood any shawty terrorized by chuckie.
As real talk, I was scared of Freddie till just about this age.
You could not have been cognitive fa real fa real to what was going on.
if you did not see the horror potential to chucky.
Especially if you were old enough to have a my buddy, my pet monster and started all your Saturday morning cartoon watching with get along gang, popables, wuzzles, kissyfur, shirt tales and my pet monster.

As those cartoons lined saturday morning in the earlier all time periods.
when kids started their carton watching at 530am.
