You have to actually look at it from the woman's perspective. You want to be the boss, you pay the cost. Its not my ideal situation, but there's nothing wrong with it and at least its fair. But if you are fine with equality and don't hate feminism/women's empowerment, 50/50 makes sense.

2 working adults should be able to split the bills so the can achieve their goals(investments,trips) if im living or married that's my partner we make decisions together

From a financial standpoint it's half. Especially both are in the work force and have good jobs. It wouldn't make any sense to do it any other way, and I'd imagine the man already pays for dates and other things on top of that.
