You should probably get yourself at LEAST to the point where you can do 25 of those before you worry about benching.
It’s a not a good indicator of much of anything other than being able to bench press. One cat in particular in my gym comes in an spends hours on the bench working around 222-245. He doesn’t lift anything else and it looks like it.Yeah I get it but my point is men should be taking care of their bodies
While we're on the topic of bench pressing. I got a question for some of y'all who are into fitness and things
This video is 2 years old now but this dude is 130 lb and can bench well over 2.5 times his body weight. And then you look at somebody like Julius Maddox who is like walking around at like 6'2 450 lb and I believe the best he's done is like a bit under 800 which is not 2.5 times. so which is more impressive?
You know what, I respect the lack of cap.130 X 8 is My Max
225 flat, 185 on incline, 4 sets of 10 each. Cut back on the diamonds. They've been hurting my forearms. I have no ambition of being a powerlifter so I'm cool with where I'm at. I weigh 203.I never do my max. Right now I'm doing 4 sets of 10 with 205 on flat after doing maybe 155- 165 on incline but doing 200 diamond push-ups 5 days a week.
Doing that max shıt can fụck up my shoulders.
