Gipp is from East Point. You have to understand, East Point and Southwest ATL are damn near the same hood right next door to each other. Plus a lot of DF cats moved around Southwest, East point and College Park anyway.
Gwinnett on the other hand is a whole other county. Its very far from ATL and is very Suburban.

No. The term DMV (DC, MD and Northern VA) is just a term for the area (that people hate). People from DC proper would NEVER say they were from the DMV. And the DMV does NOT include B-More. It's DC proper and the immediate surrounding MD and VA areas. A MD or VA nikka may say DC to an out-of-towner for geographical purposes. Because when you tell people you're from MD, the first thing they think is B-More.

That's the thing.....unless you are taking to locas about where you from, it's ok to say I'm from this county or city. However, when for instane you are a freshman college student in a whole other state 500 miles away, for purpose of being concise you going to name the major city that defines your area. Nobody is going to onow a little county.or small suburb's name.
