It really isn’t. It literally sits on top of the city of Atlanta with only doraville, tucker, and Stone Mountain as a buffer. Wether I’m in norcross , Lilburn, or Snellville I can get downtown within 15 minutes if it’s not rush hour. During my childhood, at least the parts that I was in metro Atlanta, I’ve lived in Decatur, Atlanta, Stone Mountain, tucker, and parts of Gwinnett. Gwinnett, like dekalb, and Clayton are also part of Atlanta’s logistics backbone. It also used to provide/city of Atlanta’s water. I can understand counties like rockdale, Cherokee, Forsyth, Douglass, Henry not being included in the immediate metro area.

How fast you driving if you can get from Snellvile to downtown in 15 minutes nikka? You in the batmobile? :mjlol:

I live in Lawrenceville and it takes 28 mins for me to reach mid town .
nikka said 15 minutes :mjlol:
That’s at least 45 min and that’s with good traffic nowadays

I still consider it metro Atlanta tho :whoa:

Thats without traffic though like at night. With traffic its a different story. Typically downtown Atlanta is a 40 minute drive for me.

Exactly. I don't know who these nikkas are tryng to fool. I live off Moreland/Zone 6 and it takes me at least 40 minutes to get up around that way... with my foot on the gas.

Lmao it ain’t that bad, but I do fly. I’m in west Snellville which is right up against Stone Mountain. My neighborhood is close to the freeway part of 78 once I hit ponce I’m almost there. Rush hour would be like a Mount Everest expedition though.

When there’s no traffic, 85 is amazing but if one car slows down you have to consider cannibalism and shyt cause the ride is gon take forever lmao.

I live right off the exit of Sugarloaf Parkway, so I got it kind of made compared to most people in Gwinnett. But I do say this commute to Atlanta is still short considering if you lived in a bigger city like LA. Now imagine just driving 30 minutes just to visit a mall.
