i lived in northlake like 2 years with my wife in an apartment and then we copped a crib in lawrenceville. within my first week there i found a weed plug right in the barbershop next to the gas station at oakland road and lawrenceville highway.

Migos STAYED in that barbershop...the owner was my weed plug and migos knew him. they were some of the first nikkas i smoked with in Lawrenceville. I sat in a basement with Quavo one day and smoked with him while we watched his high school football tapes (dude was actually nice as fukk as a quarterback). Quite a few times we smoked and went to chinese buffets and shyt. If you ever watch the Atlanta episode with Migos...that mexican nikka was ALWAYS with them. They used to stay in a subdivision off oakland road and i forget the intersection but it was going towards sugarloaf, the opposite direction of the lawrenceville highway intersection.

me and my wife since sold that house and moved back to philly in 2013 (my dad got cancer...he just passed in september actually) I still got boxes i can go through (and i will tomorrow) and im 100% certain i got some of their cds from before they were known, with basement songs.

I cant speak on any street cred i never seen these nikkas do any wild shyt but i can say they are all cool as fukk and down to earth and had no problem pulling hoes at the chinese buffet when they were unknown

EDIT: them 3 nikkas changed they number when they got on, was never extra tight with them they was good smoke buddies

I think I remember some chinese buffets on Memorial but that was BACK in the day. They have one chinese buffet in the white part of Decatur that's alright. Not a great selection though.

I grew up in Decatur, GA on Candler Road and that's not even in the city limits except a little part of it that intersects with Memorial Dr. So I understand some niccas in the city limits getting mad with all these niccas out in Gwinnett always trying to claim it. Niccas on the westside used to hate on niccas from the eastside trying claim it lol. Migos was like they from North Atlanta but Gwinnett not even really North ATL to be real. It's straight up suburban out there. I always saw Atlanta or the metro ATL area being only Fulton, DeKalb...with certain areas of Cobb and Clayton too. But Atlanta is so small in regards to square feet, there is a reason the population is only like 500K if that. Most niccas claiming Atlanta really from College Park, Decatur, Riverdale, Smyrna, etc which all got hoods. But yeah they trappin in every county but everybody know the REAL hood is inner city Atlanta, which is Fulton and a small part of DeKalb.

This right here is the 100% truth.

Hell I've always thought that College Park and Decatur might as well BE Atlanta. But Gwinnett, Stone Mountain/Lithonia, Conyers, etc. are far away enough that they are their own thing. Hell Gwinnett doesn't even have Marta!
