They are really cool. Didn't mind deploying on that at all. A/C, gym, food. Last deployment I was on had a Basketball tournament out in the middle of the Persian Gulf.

03. Some of the guys to sneak in all of sorts of shyt. Ak-47s, pistols, and a couple of Iraqi officers sabers. I managed to get a bunch small miscellaneous Iraqi military stuff like coats, uniforms, and a tshirt with Sadam(sp) Hussein face on it. They actually let me keep a pistol but that shyt is probably in a forgotten corner of the armory.

From time to time we would find fingers but one time we found a head.
I remember some units actually getting authorized to take back AK's and Pistols. We were allow to take back russian combat knifes, one per soldier.
