they can't co-exist with anybody. they have to run and take over everything they involve themselves with - it's the same mentality that fuels imperialism
this is something they can't deny and it's not a racist statement at all.
they loved bluegrass? - take it.
they loved rock n roll? - take it.
they loved the civil rights movement? - take it (lgbt community)
they loved jazz? - take it.
now we're seeing it with R&B and Hip Hop - the "old" way was terrible and they didn't get it (because it was too BLACK)
ever notice these new publications never talk about THE WEST COAST ALL STARS - ALL IN THE SAME GANG or THE STOP THE VIOLENCE MOVEMENT - SELF DESTRUCTION

Complex and its affiliate twitter handles catch that block from me on social media, I dont fukk with them at all. They have a plantation mentality about hip hop, their condescension level is through the roof, and they stay talking down to the artists and the listeners in their writeups. Complex and publications like them are why Kanye said he only wants Black writers reviewing his music, these White run hip hop sites have lowkey contempt for Black culture. I shot for complex a few times. They pay good money but I didn't see any blacks there and it was a cac who got me the job.Did shyt with fader and vice but they were always freelance gigs. Never been offered a permanent job.

But at the same time I don't really remember getting any money from black folks in the entertainment/media industry.
To be honest a lot of black people in these industries including the entertainers are c00ns and would rather give money to their useless homies or white people or Asians. I see it all the time.
I worked with a bunch of people for peanuts before they were famous but once they got paper they had upgrade to white folks.

I saw an article yesterday about it. Chance's cover is coming up and he shouted out some of the people he worked with on the cover and people started going off about how Ebony hasn't paid them for work.
