whatever davis is doing "different" from what kevin love does still hasnt translated into davis's team being contenders despite how so overwhelmingly good he is apparently....sorry not impressed.
I got league pass. I've seen em maybe 8-10 times this season already. I watched em the 2x they faced the Lakers, the 2x they faced the Cavs, the 2x they faced the Thunder with Westbrook, and the game against the Warriors, Kings, Blazers.
of course they are a selfish team. most young teams are. but you if Davis is already the best in the league or top 3, he should be able to put it together with a team that you admit is talented. a team that can beat the Cavs without him and hang with the Warriors while they are on a 16 game win streak.
I'm not saying Davis needs to win a title with this crew. I'm just saying if he's as good as ya'll say shouldn't they be better than 14-13? Nobody says James Harden is the best player in the NBA and he led the Rockets (w/o Dwight) to a much better record with less talent than Davis has going for him right now. When Cousins was healthy he had the Kings playing at the same level as the Pelicans with much less talent than Davis. And no one was saying Boogie was the best in the game.

He is the best player in the NBA this season, its clear that he is playing above everyone else right now. You can be the best player in the NBA on a team which doesn't have good coaching and full of chuckers. You simply don't understand the game of basketball to keep up.
Sure you've watched 8-10 games, you didn't even have a counter to when I said that these bums go sometimes a full quarter in games in where they don't even look for AD on offense. shyt is truly pathetic how bad this team really is. A talented team doesn't mean shyt if they don't mesh well. The only player worth keeping on that squad is AD...everyone else is expendable.

before coming to LA, Gasol was a 19/9 one-time allstar. for comparison's sake Bosh was a 7 time all-star before he joined with Bron and Wade.
Holiday is a one time all-star who put up 18/8. Evans was ROY and put up 20/5/5. Gordon in his last year with the Clippers put up 22.3 PPG. Anderson averaged 19.8 PPG before and is a 3-point sniper. Asik was the centerpiece of the Bulls defense back in 2011 when they had the best record in the league. etc.
this Pelicans team is mad talented. and ya'll keep sellin em short cause you nikkas are tryin to boost Davis into something he ain't dude is nice but he ain't seeing the TRUE supertars of the game right now. cats like Bron, KD, Curry, Russ, and Harden. hell he ain't even seeing Aldridge and Boogie either at the PF/C position.
nobody has sucked worse than love. and stop just looking at numbers. I've watched almost every cavs game. Love has been a cancer on the court. He's been dominated by other teams 4s and 5s. He's done nothing in the way of defense. If you watched the Cavs play as much as I have, you'd know that the team looks much better when Tristan Thompson is in there instead of Love cause he'll actually play defense and get offensive rebounds cause he's in the paint rather than being camped out at the 3-point line.

you must be young and never seen young KG play. anyone from my era (early 2000s) knows that KG was a better player than Davis currently is. even if the box scores say otherwise.
anyone who says this obviously doesn't watch basketball. you can't be the best player in the game if you can't command double teams. you can't be the best player in the game if you don't make ur teammates better. how can the best player in the game be dominated by Lamarcus aldridge 2 nights ago while only putting up 5 points?
i value players who can score when the whole defense is glued on em. cats like lebron, durant, russ, harden, curry, etc. Davis scores buckets off tip-ins, fast breaks, pick n rolls, etc. He never really scores when the whole D is glued on him cause he lacks a post game. if ur a big, you can't make ur teammates better unless you can score from the post because otherwise you on't draw doubles.
like I've said a millon times. there is a reason that before Boogie got the viral infection he had the less taleted Kings playing at a higher level than Davis and the Pelicans playing. to be a great big you need to draw doubles and the only way to do that is to dominate in the post.
I never said he was the best now but the boy is a top 3 talent right now. That's easy to see if you watch him play. People try to play the record against him but Bron missed the playoffs his first two years and while Davis may miss them again he is in the stacked West where very good teams get left out on the regular. If nikkas hype Melo as a top five it's not a stretch at all to call AD the best player in the league. Now while I don't think he's there quite yet I know he will get there sooner or later.
Who was Gasol going against in the West and who was Bosh going against in the East?
