All this Anthony Davis is the best player in the leauge shyt is :mindblown: has he even been to the playoffs yet..............I didn't think so.

Nothing against you breh, but this is the #1 worst argument I see.

How is it AD's fault his team is not in the playoffs yet? As of today, they are in the #8 seed, although OKC is gon catch them.

Even if they did make the playoffs, his stats are going to be the same, or even better since he will be playing 40+ minutes.

When you talk about the best player in the league you don't get that title for improving over the summer. You can get some respect doing work in the regular season but everybody knows when it comes to the NBA you HAVE TO DO IT in the postseason. That's the criteria for being the best player in the league. He hasn't played 1 damn playoff game and he's barely sniffing the 8th spot right now.

Let's see how the season plays out IF he makes the playoffs and continues the same play or even elevates his game. Damn you nikkas wanna anoint him too quickly.

His stats would be the exact same on a playoff team what's your point?

And what's your point?

Talk about his lack of a post game all you want but he boy is only 21 so you know that is coming with time. He is a top 3 to 5 player right now and it's not outrageous to say he's the best individual talent in the league right now. As long as he doesn't get a major injury by the time he's 25 he'll own the league and will have made his mark in the playoffs on a national stage.

Dog, that's a team / front office problem, not an AD problem.

Even if New Orleans DID make the playoffs...

Even if AD DID put average 25/13 in the playoffs

The Pelicans are still gon get beat in 5 games most likely.

Then the criticism turns into "He can't get his team out of the first round" like 99% of teams w/ 1 superstar who played in the West

Samething happened to Lebron why should AD be any different.

Kevin Garnett's turn aroundfade away jumper in the post was unstoppable most of career. Wolves didn't win because KG was all they had most of his career - not because of post moves. You gave KG an aging sprewell and sam cassell and he took them to the WCF. If surrounded with talent he would've had won rings in minny.

Kobe wasn't top 3 in 06 and 07?

I should've been more specific. You can't be top 3 and be barely .500 with a loaded roster. The Pelicans right now have FIVE quality players other than Davis who would be part of any contenders rotation.

Holiday is a former all-star who put up 18/8 in 2013.
Evans was a ROY who put up 20/5/5.
Anderson a former MIP and 3 point sniper whose career high is 19.8 PPG.
Gordon was the centerpiece of the CP3 trade and put up 22.3 PPG in 2011.
Asik is a shot blocking rim protector.

Thats alot of talent. If 2006 Kobe had this roster, he'd have em contending in this loaded West. I don't see Davis having the likes of Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, and Luke Walton starting with him.
