I knew what I had to spend, I got a deal on everything I copped. Only thing that put me over a stack was the monitor I got.

An ATX mid tower should hold anything mentioned in here ... Your mobo and size/number of extra components (graphics cards, CPU cooler, hard drives, etc.) are what helps you pick a case....
I was able to build a monster a while back, sli setup, 3 hard drives, about 4 fans and more in a mid tower with no cable management...:whew:

shyt weighed about 50lbs

Why u spend so much on a motherboard? Unless you need to use every component in there for hacking reasons, there should be no reason to spend over $100 on a motherboard.

Also,if u gonna run two powerful Gaming Cards and a beastly CPU,you better have a good ass cooling system otherwise u gonna fry your shyt. Most peeps who drop that much on a built PC run water coolers through their system

its not hard to build a PC its just that if your case isn't big enough there's always some pain in the ass part of something that has to be plugged up to the motherboard. sometimes its the Sata ports or one of the power cables.

i been building my own PCs since 2001 and honestly i'll never buy a store bought PC again. i can do a better job myself and its kinda fun to put together your own PC. its also easier to fix because as you build your own PCs you learn more about them and how to fix them.

$1200 for hopefully the 4-6 years of use, not worth it?

Plus do I really need water cooling with this setup?

Might just go with one graphics card to get my cost under $1000.

Already have the CPU, SSD, HDD, PSU and the Optical Drive

But I mean, are you a hardcore gamer that's gonna be playing games with cutting edge graphics? Do you have some kind of CPU-intensive application you run? If not then you're gonna just have a bunch of processing power you never use. If you have nothing better to spend your money on or you just want to show off then :manny: but that stuff is nowhere close to being necessary for your build to last.

If you know how to maintain your computer and have some expansion slots it should last 5+ years regardless.
