Texting has literally worsened aspects of communication. People typing in emojis and pictures pages to convey their feelings. Then on the follow up, can’t covey their thoughts or carry a convo in person.

But they know any small detail of neighborhood gossip or celeb status updates.

Perpetual state of apathy. Can’t stand those who text with “Lol” or post an emoji after every sentence; My caller block and delete contact game is flawless.

Don’t get me started on the random people asking why I still read print books. I don’t answer and stare at them like their stupid, ignore them snd go back to reading. Stfu and let me read in peace - people Legit have an issue with you thinking to yourself and not wanting your mental space interrupted.

I know a lot of grown mfers and co-workers that haven't read a fukking book since Uni man. I don't know. Its not exactly falling off of the face of the earth; but it does seem to be dropping. Kindle lit a fire for a bit with a lot of people, but that seems to have waned.
