How do people go through life without regularly reading books?

In school they make you read the same boring books over and over again and overanalyze ever detail, so most people just assume that reading books is always boring and they stop doing it after they finish school. I used to read a crazy amount of books when I was a kid. Like a new 300 page book every day or two. But I have a lot of stuff going on nowadays so I don’t read as much as I used to. I agree that it’s sad when people don’t read at all though.
I mean it stands to reason that if there are boring books there are books that aren't. I also have a lot to do. Full time job. Part-time editing gig. Project management course. Writing my own comics series. Guitar practice and MMA I find time to read on the train.

Some of us literally make time to do things. It's not that hard when you're organized.
Don't be a captain save a hoe. Shorty is capping, there's nothing organized about that broad, just look at her longer posts. Wouldn't surprise me if she has ADHD.

Simple other things to occupy time.

Reading is a necessity for me. I’ve gone through at least 15 books this year. What I find helps is finding quick reads. For instance, David Goggins wrote a dope bio about his experiences without the depth and density of other bios. Personally I feel everyone should read.

tip: If anyone commutes using public transport, take that time to crack open a book. I get 60/70% of my reading for the week out the way during my commute

The number of people talking about “cliffs”, on a 4 minute video is always amazing to me. The Dumbing down era continues - People’s attention spans are shyt, combined with lack of intellectual motivation. People walking around in a mental void.

The amount of dementia patients are going to be off the charts in about 15-20 years. Brain atrophy is so real.
