Naw, Cube went from "Burn Hollywood, Burn" to making movies for little Becky and Chad.

This is more accurate. You cant call MC Hammer a sellout because he made pop music, and then years later make "we be clubbin", and label yourself Don Mega. The Cube of the early 90s, and the Cube of the late 90s is almost a completely different person and artist.
To a certain extent you guys are right in that his personal beliefs did evolve, as his anti-white posture was influenced heavily by his infatuation with the Nation of Islam. I think he started to lose interest in Muhammed's teaching at some point, but he clearly downplayed the religious aspect for mainstream acceptance when he started westside connection. Thats selling out 101. Trading beliefs for cash.
The selling out stuff has more to do with his shift in hip hop content, than his acting career.
I don't know man, I wasn't a big fan of the Don Mega switch up from the nikka Ya Love To Hate but I did say that he didn't sell out imo.
When he was younger he was a thousand times more militant, especially about white people being the devil, and he was dissing New Jack Swing and R&B for c00nery. He grew up and changed like everyone does, and he probably doesn't agree with a lot of what he used to say, and I bet ya that young Cube would have called himself a sell out cause of it.
nikka is still the man the best west coast artist to ever make it imo, probably the best rapper to ever make it too. But that's debatable.

to each his own, but that cd was straight garbation to me.. not that the two he made before that were all that dope... but that i am the west just raised the bar on garbage as far as i'm concerned... all i remember of that wack ass i am the west cd is google me bytch... this dude literally had a chorus that said google me bytch.... amw cube would body this new cube something fierce...
When did he call Hammer a sell out?
