lakers were tired af from 3 straight finalsl
Kobe the competitor can't play 3 Finals without getting tired but LeBron out there putting up a 50-spot in his 8th in a row? :gucci:

That game 4 :ahh:

Kobe Bryant 7-18 for 17 points, 1 assist, 5 turnovers

Jason Terry, HIS DEFENSIVE RESPONSIBILITY, 11-14 for 32 points and 4 assists.

And people wanna talk about Terry and LeBron as if they even play the same position. :mjlol:

Spurs 2003, Pistons 2004, Suns 2006, Suns 2007, Celtics 2008, Mavs 2011....Kobe has a record of shytting the bed in the last game of tough series like nobody's business. :wow:

Kobe was hurt and he did play bad I'm game 4. Other than that he was the only one doing anything

Gasol was useless
That ain't true at all.

Game 1 Pau had 15-11-7 and a block on 50% shooting, Odom had 15-12-2 and a block on 50% shooting.

They played fine they just didn't get opportunities because :childplease: wanted to put up 29 shots and 0 assists in the game. :mjlol:

In Game 2 it flipped and everyone but Bynum (18 and 13 on 8-11 shooting) played bad.

In Game 3 Kobe actually distributed the ball and Pau/Odom/Bynum combined for 51-24-6 on 48% shooting, they would have won the game if Dirk/Peja/Terry hadn't shot the lights out

In Game 4 everyone played bad.

Listening to an old podcast where it was brought up and wanted to ask y'all - how did LA not manage to win one game against Dallas? I know they were clicking, but still.

-Kobe was showing his age
-Gasol was worn out and might be hurt that Shannon Brown fukked his bytch or whatever
-Artest was fat and getting older
-the lakers overall were burned out after 3 straight Finals... kinda like that 2014 Heat in the Finals
The Laker always struggled against quick point guards so JJ ate good

Shall we discuss your king's performance in the Finals against this same Mavs squad?
:sas2:

That discussion is in contingent to which narrative we want to use to fit the agenda:sas1:

If we run with that narrative that Kobe is better than LeBron, then if Kobe canā€™t beat them (and got swept) what chance did really Bron have?

If we want to finally admit Bron is better and a far superior, then yes we need to heavily criticize and blame:steviej:

By being a much better team
Dallas one of the best examples for my theory that having all the pieces covered is more important than how many stars you have. If you have all the right pieces and they fit together, you will run over teams. It's that missing piece that always kills your chances.

Dallas had an elite primary scorer and a strong secondary scorer, shooters to space the court, an elite primary ballhandler and a strong change-of-pace secondary ballhandler, an elite rim protector and elite perimeter defenders, and rebounders at every position.

Miami had zero true shooters in the starting lineup and that killed them more than anything. That one missing piece was the difference in the series. Without shooters to worry about the Mavs played a semi-zone where they sagged into LeBron's driving lanes and gamed into the passing lanes. Dallas dared LeBron to shoot it himself and he didn't have the shot yet to do it and got shook. Bosh/Wade/LeBron were talented enough that they came close to taking the series anyway, but in the end they really lost that shyt at the 3pt line.
