Naw you right usher was def bigger as far as sales..,. I feel due to his age & Ginuwine had more adult oriented type records. Moreso was speaking from a personal view & what I heard most people listening too

You off on Ginuwine numbers tho. Both them albums went double
I've previously heard double also. Probably shipped double, sold those I agree usher connected more with the kids than G

Ginuwine is a good singer I give him that, but he was just the one of the many "good singers" that were in the game back when R&B was in it's prime. I can bring up a bunch of underrated R&B singers, e.g. TQ, Ali, and even Mario (who is a one-hit wonder).

Ginuwine was huge but he was to old unlike usher and new jack swing Era was dying by the time he came, usher was always big but I can't imagine Ginuwine doing the A town stomp.

@Big Boss Nah, even though I respect your opinion, I would have to disagree as R.Kelly did become big at point in the late 1990's. He has a dozen "smash hits" under his belt that are bumped even to this day (I know people).

This is a very good and valid question to me, both G and uRsher were all the ladies talked about in high school

But that's true, he just never crossed over like that, and you can't blame it on the music/beats because Aaliyah was HUUUUGE with the same team

A lot of artists get in their own way and I'd say G was one of them..

Side note: 100% ginuwine is a classic, but that's the worst album cover of all time, shyt looks like a 1980's Sears catalog model
