Humans have the ability to create life. Humans have the ability to end life. Both are just abilities. Life, whether being created or destroyed, has no actual purpose. I could assign the purpose of life to anything. I could say that the purpose of life is death. You could say the purpose of life is to procreate, or to sustain itself. Ultimately, we're just two human beings assigning our own purposes to an element of nature that has no actual purpose; based off of our own personal prejudices.

No nikka, you can't randomly assign purpose to life or anything. What you're describing is intepretation. You could just say the purpose of life of your favorite resturant's chef is to make you your favorite dish. But everybody would recognize you for a small minded egotistical prick.
In reality you can easily observe how instincts/adaptations all trace back to sustaining itself or sustaining their genetic legacy

Me saying that the purpose of life is death, because humans have the ability to end life, is no different than you saying that the purpose of life is to procreate, because humans have the ability to create life. Nature has no actual purpose. Biology has no actual purpose. Procreation has no actual purpose. They just are. And life just is.

Evolution has no actual purpose. It just happens. Procreation has no actual purpose. We are just able to. Life has no actual purpose. It just is. Whatever purposes you want to attach to these natural occurrences to satisfy your human biases are subjective and meaningless because you, yourself, have no actual purpose.
