Yeah Bryant is straight trash now, what a fall off

And Cole. Aka the best pitcher in baseball
Gerrit Cole is very good. I just don't think he's the best pitcher in the game anymore. Certainly Top 10. Probably Top 5.
I agree with you that he is untouchable in any trades, because the Yankees pitching depth suddenly looks very shallow.

I thought Rodon would be much better than he's shown since coming back from injury. Granted, you can't take away much from 20 innings of sample size but he's not striking ANYBODY out. And that's something that tends to be stable for pitchers. If things don't level out for him quickly, it's going to be a big problem for Cashman.

The Yankees don't have any pitching prospects in the minors worth being excited about at the moment. If they were to trade Gerrit Cole, it would be a clear signal that they're blowing everything up. Because it's not like they have an offense that can carry a mediocre pitching rotation (something teams like the late-1990s Indians got away with, for example).

Cole has the best ERA in the AL and just tossed 7 shut out innings vs the best team in the AL

If he's not the best I don't know who is

Wish we had the prospects to run it back with both Coke and Verlander, guaranteed ring but we don’t got anyone worth a damn in the farm to pull it off :beli:

Yankees will have to pick it up next 10 games or it’s basically over for them, Orioles are the real deal this year. Would’ve loved an ALCS rematch since we have an actual rivalry going :francis:

Fangraphs projects the Yankees with a 27.7% chance of making the playoffs -- the lowest in the AL East.

Wow! I didn’t think it was that bad. Judge really is the entire offense. All that money for Stanton and he hasn’t amounted to much. You hate to see it, reminds me so much of Carlos Lee :pachaha:
