I have never seen winds this fierce or damaging here in my life. I’ve lived through countless storms here and they were all flooding. Whenever we had high wind storms one or two houses caught strays but I went around driving in the locale area on my way to work (electrician) and so many people got it. Trees fallen on houses, tree collapsed blocking an entire street from entry (thankfully Public Works is there to help);etc. Everyone getting it.

:whew:

No power where I'm at on SW,first time since the hard freeze
Luckily I prepared for that..all my devices are fully charged plus power banks on full too
Been bullshytting on getting an outdoor propane stove though
May have to warm my food on the grill
:francis:
Good job. Stay on it.

Just finished cleaning up the yard at mom’s and I’m exhausted. Put all the limbs that fell into bags. I got 5-6 bags of tree branches ready for trash pickup tomorrow. Then I raked the small bits and swept the patio and driveway.

8:42 and still no power in Humble/Atascocita/Kingwood.

Power finally came back.
I took a drive through my neighborhood and saw all kinds of damage to fences, some completely blown over.
