Been all over the world 5 times, wouldn’t Live anywhere else. H-tine hasn’t given me or my wife a reason to leave, if we did move it would be completely out of the country depending on how this 2020 election bs goes.

Any Coli brehs make it to The Turkey Leg Hut? I'm from that side of town and still havent been there. It's always way too packed. All the celebs stopping by doesn't help.

I’ve been, but it’s almost not worth the hassle to go now. I would try and go early(like 3 ish) if you really want to check it out.

With the weather being nice, it’s going to be packed

This is why the high speed trains will change the dynamics of Texas, regarding what it means to live, work, and play here, once they come to fruition.
  • Instead of you saying I'm homesick you would be like, I took the hour or hour and half train to Fort Worth for training and now I'm back in my bed in Houston...ideally anyway.

Heard the turkey leg hut was over rated and they over charge for crawfish too.

Texas desperately needs a high speed rail. Imagine getting to El Paso in 4 hours from Houston (which is like a 10-12hr drive by itself). I’m super surprised with all this OG money in the state that Exxon execs haven’t pushed for it so they aren’t stuck in bfe midland Odessa for months at a time with not shyt to do until they get back to a populated area.

I liked them at first when it was a cool lil chill spot...now it’s gone Hollywood. I ain’t standing outside waiting to see the hostess.

:dame:

I visited when it was on Washington Avenue and it was indeed a cool spot to kick it at during the week.

Once they moved off Almeda, it was wrap. Havent been and dont plan on going. I refuse to have to pay to park, stand outside waiting in line...and the food is high as fukk to me anyway. Pass.

The Coli
HTX folks this Kruangbin band is making waves globally, they're from the area and record in a barn out in countryside. The band name is Thai for airplane, and that's part of their eclectic instrumental influence: 60s/70s Thai funk, other Asian, rock, gospel, jazz, hip hop, African, Spanish, etc...almost genre-less.

If you like chill music with a bop..and some global music DNA.....this might be for you.
Play the last video while you hanging with folks and see how it goes over.:jbhmm:
