I was staying in the Westside/Galleria area of Houston last weekend.

Great getaway :blessed:

Ran the half marathon Sunday and went to the Rockets/Lakers game the night before .

Y'all weather can't make up its mind :pachaha:

The Black TSA at Bush are some c00ns though for real.

Krabqueenz is straight :banderas:

HTX folks this Kruangbin band is making waves globally, they're from the area and record in a barn out in countryside. The band name is Thai for airplane, and that's part of their eclectic instrumental influence: 60s/70s Thai funk, other Asian, rock, gospel, jazz, hip hop, African, Spanish, etc...almost genre-less.

If you like chill music with a bop..and some global music DNA.....this might be for you.
Play the last video while you hanging with folks and see how it goes over.:jbhmm:

Why does the first song feel like a Pimp C beat?

I can hear UGK on that. I think when I first heard UGK, since I had bias ears to East Coast boom bap, it took awhile to appreciate the country soul hip hop production. This is still their coldest song to me on the production side

They should do an EP with local artists, to see how it would fit, Houston and beyond.

Edit: Turns out the drummer, who theycall DJ, has actually worked with lots of Houston rappers.

I stayed in dallas two weeks in 2007.

Got family in oak cliff.

Stayed in hou overnight.

My brother went to texas southern there.

Houston a big city.

Seem like a cool place.

Tx a great state minus the laws
