Clearly HBO decided that what could have easily been a 3 season show, should instead have more seasons. That would have been a nice episode 9 of a 10 episode season. Being the finale is insulting. Given all the time wasted padding Harrenhall, Corlys' sons, the nonstop appeals for "restraint" following multiple personal deaths that should have ensured war, and this nonsense with the Lannister. I don't want to get into book v show stuff but....that entire plot was Otto Hightower's. He negotiated with the Triarchy. Imagine how much better the season would flow if Otto was going between Oldtown and Essos negotiating this. Could have introduced Alicent's other son too, instead of leaving him off camera until the last couple minutes of the finale.

The focus on a small handful of characters between KL and Dragonstone, with Harrenhall thrown in for filler, was embarrassing all season. Just poorly handled by the showrunner.

This right here. It reminds me of AMC milking the hell out of Walking Dead. The question is, is it the creatives fukking up this bad or are the Max suits interfering?….because this season did not feel like an HBO show at all. It feels cheap.

This was way worse than season 8. Don't forget, we had the BATTLE OF WINTERFELL in season 8. There was no episode in House of Dragon coming close to touching that, especially in season 2 of House of Dragon.

People need to put more respect on Benioff and Weiss's names.

The Long Night was a great set up episode too.

Yea they def tryna milk this for as many seasons as possible, which is funny, because if they wanted to, they could've just started when Viserys & Daemon were kids or even before that instead of tryna rush into "Dance of the Dragons"

And why aren't there as many sex scenes, like the OG series? That's part of the appeal of GOT. Man HBO needs to cut a check and bring Benioff and Weiss back to do a GOT series.
