Basically anyone who's a little "off" in the GoT/ASOAIF universe is lampshaded to have the gift of prophecy. They did Helena like a book character 100s of years later during the GoT timeline named patchface. He was a jester for Stannis Baratheon who used to have non-sensical ramblings that ended up being detailing prophetic events(Red Wedding, Battle Of Blackwater, Purple Wedding, etc).
