yea claire ruined him a few times... that's his weakness and the russian prez picked up on it earlyThats cuz it easier to look in front of you than behind you.
Frank knew the law and knew Congress, He knew Walker too. But now, he has to be a face as well as deal with other entire nations now and be a catalyst for his wife's plas as well. If Claire wasn't so hell bent on her own agenda it woulda been perfect. Frank could plan ahead because not many eyeballs were on him. Remember, dude's original plan was to be Secretary of State and work from there (which woulda been easier, because he woulda had the platform of dynamic foreign policy and more than likely a few nations behind him from personal deals he could cut while on diplomatic missions.)
Frank's Vengance and Ambition are his strengths and weaknesses at the sametime

He's the President's Chief of Staff. You treat any white man with that type of status in Washington in that manner, you'd be lucky to get another job after you're fired. That's why the Police Chief was tryna kiss his azz afterward. I lived in DC for 5 years. If you think they'd pull this guy over, slam his head on the car and handcuff him, you're delusional. And if they did, they'd got the hand of god laid on them the next day.

he ethered Claire so bad after she hit him with that "you're not enough." I felt uncomfortable as fukk watching that shyt.
Man this season
Lowlights: I really don't give a shyt about Jackie and Remy's relationship. They really fukked over a great piece of the show imo. Remy was a fukking force of nature in Season 1, strong arming nikkas, pitting Claire against Francis it was almost masterclass. I was hype as fukk when I saw he was Chief of StaffBut nah, he dipped out over his fukkin EX-girl.
I also coulda did without SO MUCH of Orsay, I mean I get his part in the grander scheme, but do I REALLY need 10 mins an episode dedicated to him in FBI offices? Nah.
They also were really soft on displaying the press. One of the best parts of the show was showing how Politicians must work hand in hand (or at least manipulate) the press to be effective, and how the press is supposed to question that at all costs. Zoe was the paragon of that aspect and it died with her too. Seth, Francis and his team just steamrolled the press in this season.
Highlights:
DOUG fukkING STAMPER.Sure the whole Rachel obsession thing was getting tiresome and I loved how as his limp was leaving his ruthlessness was coming back. The moment he threw the cane in the water I knew he would kill Rachel. Its also good to have a guy in the show who's just fukking weird....many salutes to Francis Jr.
Robin Wright's Claire. We can get mad at the ending all day (she's fukking stupid) but Claire had the power scenes mayne.that shyt looked like GENUINE FEAR. The blood drive scene, the hotel scene, the prison scenes....hell the whole season belongs to Robin Wright (she directed episode 9 too)
Most of all...President....mother...fukking...Petrov.Dude is a fukking master Russian politics hurricane. Best part about him is dude is BRUTALLY honest about everything Francis would lie about. He off rip was like "Yo, gays don't even bother me bro, but i'll jail/kill them fukkers to keep my regime on point." or "I know why you invited me down here nikka, fukk your expensive cigars.
" or "Oh, yeah...i killed my own people, but you'll give me this resolution, end the UN mission AND fire your wife...
". The Underwoods are lucky dude doesn't want more than that, because Petrov was a MUCH more experienced head of state than Francis and showed so all season long.
Even with the weaknesses I still liked the season
I took Remy leaving as him realizing that despite his achievements he will always be seen as just a nikka...
The fat ass in the car treating him like Driving Miss Daisy,then the shyt with the cops...treating a Chief of Staff like that?
That shyt doesn't happen to a white guy in that situation.
The thing with Jackie made him realize that he can't compromise who he is.Jackie turned down Vice President if i'm not mistaken.
I'm happy for Remy
I'd like to hope with who he knows in D.C he can do something to help black people in America.Whether it being mentoring young black people in politics,or fighting corruption or some shyt....or at the very least open some sort of business where he is his own boss.

i made her my WCW today based off your post... her man got caught getting head and sticking cigars in a bytch and she stood by that man 150%... still didn't leave after the presidency was done... got herself another job as head of the state dept... running for prez twice... and her man sticking by her... thats a motherfukking power couple
thinking bout this made me think that claire really is the entire issue here
she got that bill to fail by going with remy... which got russo killed
she slept with the photog and got everyone caught up with that
she came out about the rape and abortion and lied on national tv... that almost blew up in their face twice
if it wasn't for her, frank would have been smooth sailing about 5-10 times where he fukked up at
