Rachel's death might have been the saddest thing I had ever seen in a TV show. I really thought he was gonna let her live.:to:

This also means Frank is never gonna go down for murdering Russo and Zoe. Rachel was the only one left. I thought that was supposed to be the idea behind the show.

Love this series to death. But Frank Underwood gotta be the biggest DINO in the history of Democrats, real or fictional.

That's what I asked before. It seems only Claire and Doug can expose Frank, and at this point, there's no real evidence to prove anything. So at most Frank's image would go down the toilet (and it's not like that shyt is that high to begin with) and that would be his house of cards falling down? :patrice:

I'm up to episode 7. Jackie :noah: remember when she was in Deadwood :ohlawd:
that's where she's from.... she has that old MILF body and face that is just perfect for the word... like she could come out in some PJ's and you'd see why the hubby is cheating... then she gets dolled up in that skirt and heels and you like :merchant: :whoo: :patrice: "you somebody's mom? get the fukk out of here"

i'd throw a couple 20 and 30 year olds in the trash for a night with her in those pencil skirts... that brother knew what was up :sas2:

Zoe's boyfriend is rotting in jail and the editor didn't really believe his story. How can they be major players again?

I'm glad he went back and got her. I would have been super annoyed if, given the ruthless characters they've proven to be, he hadn't killed her. The season had a lot of cheesy moment, imo. So leaving a loose end like that alive would probably just lead to more BS writing.

Man this season :wow: here are my highlights and low lights...

Lowlights: I really don't give a shyt about Jackie and Remy's relationship. They really fukked over a great piece of the show imo. Remy was a fukking force of nature in Season 1, strong arming nikkas, pitting Claire against Francis it was almost masterclass. I was hype as fukk when I saw he was Chief of Staff :snoop: But nah, he dipped out over his fukkin EX-girl.

I also coulda did without SO MUCH of Orsay, I mean I get his part in the grander scheme, but do I REALLY need 10 mins an episode dedicated to him in FBI offices? Nah.

They also were really soft on displaying the press. One of the best parts of the show was showing how Politicians must work hand in hand (or at least manipulate) the press to be effective, and how the press is supposed to question that at all costs. Zoe was the paragon of that aspect and it died with her too. Seth, Francis and his team just steamrolled the press in this season.

Highlights:
DOUG fukkING STAMPER. :salute: Sure the whole Rachel obsession thing was getting tiresome and I loved how as his limp was leaving his ruthlessness was coming back. The moment he threw the cane in the water I knew he would kill Rachel. Its also good to have a guy in the show who's just fukking weird....many salutes to Francis Jr.

Robin Wright's Claire. We can get mad at the ending all day (she's fukking stupid) but Claire had the power scenes mayne. :wow: The small things in acting get me...involuntary stuff that lets you know an actor is all in. We all know Claire as an ice queen, but when she was sitting in that car, and Frank told her that journal might come out...:to: that shyt looked like GENUINE FEAR. The blood drive scene, the hotel scene, the prison scenes....hell the whole season belongs to Robin Wright (she directed episode 9 too)

Most of all...President....mother...fukking...Petrov. :wow: :merchant: Dude is a fukking master Russian politics hurricane. Best part about him is dude is BRUTALLY honest about everything Francis would lie about. He off rip was like "Yo, gays don't even bother me bro, but i'll jail/kill them fukkers to keep my regime on point." or "I know why you invited me down here nikka, fukk your expensive cigars. :pacspit:" or "Oh, yeah...i killed my own people, but you'll give me this resolution, end the UN mission AND fire your wife...:win:". The Underwoods are lucky dude doesn't want more than that, because Petrov was a MUCH more experienced head of state than Francis and showed so all season long.

Even with the weaknesses I still liked the season :manny:

the show can never be perfect to me cuz of freddy's character. he's just such a stereotype...especially his son's character (i think his son was some type of 2014 crackhead :dahell: ) seems like he was designed by someone who'd never met black people.

Yeah I don't get his character. :patrice: Is he old school or what? He has had struggle so he is a negative person?

He gets face time with the president and he wants a job working outside? The kitchen would have been perfect. That was some bullshyt. I guess he lowkey hates Underwood too.

I think you just explained something I didn't understand. He hates Frank so much now that he can't stand to cook for him. He needs the job, but he wants to be as far away from Frank as possible.

I think Freddy's talk to his grandson was the writers' way of pointing out that :obama:never existed in the timeline of the House of Cards universe.

I think I would actually enjoy the show more if it didn't pretend to be set in current times in the real world. If it were set in a Game of Thrones world, or in ancient Roman times, or in Palpatine's Galactic Senate I think it would be up there with the greatest shows of all time. But putting it in the modern world stretches my sense of disbelief too much.

John Scott was the 44th President of the United States. In the House of Cards universe, he was nominated by the Republican Party in 2008, instead of John McCain. It is unknown if Barack Obama was his challenger or not. Either way, in the HOC universe, Scott was the 2008 election and succeeded George W. Bush.

In 2012, President Scott ran for re-election against Colorado Governor Garrett Walker. However, Governor Walker defeated President Scott. President Scott is never seen or mentioned at all.
