I took Remy leaving as him realizing that despite his achievements he will always be seen as just a nikka...

The fat ass in the car treating him like Driving Miss Daisy, then the shyt with the cops...treating a Chief of Staff like that? :camby: That shyt doesn't happen to a white guy in that situation.

The thing with Jackie made him realize that he can't compromise who he is.Jackie turned down Vice President if i'm not mistaken.

I'm happy for Remy :myman:

I'd like to hope with who he knows in D.C he can do something to help black people in America.Whether it being mentoring young black people in politics,or fighting corruption or some shyt....or at the very least open some sort of business where he is his own boss. :wow:

But who IS Remy really? When we meet him he a corporate attack dog and now he has a crisis of conscience when so much is on the line? :comeon: I understand the conflict I do. But you think Stamper would react that way? No. I get that Remy was shook up by the police event, but dude lost sight of what he could be achieving. At least wait until the crisis is over before you bow out. It just made him look weak as fukk imo when dude came in the game as such a imposing, unflappable figure.

Doug out acted everybody to me. If you disagree, please explain. You seen a transformation of a character. Struggles. Conflicts. Ultimately, taking that chick's life. The President character flaws was overly exposed. Can't handle women. How do you not know you can't be a dictator with women? Stupid. Sorry don't remember names but the chick that was banging Remy. Was easily manipulated by that other presidental chick. By playing with her emotions, bringing up family, etc. Why wouldn't Frank do the same thing? You can't bring up her family like he did in the debate. Then said that crap about "Well, she was gonna do it anyway." No she wasn't dummy. That's crossing the line. And if you're appealing to female voters that's the last thing you do.

Then Frank and Claire. Again, I get yall hate Claire. Like every show with a male anti-hero (Breaking Bad, Sorpranos, etc. But again, if you losing your wife which he apparently didn't see. You have to manipulate her to be back on your side. Nobody truly feared Frank. And that church scene was perfect when he chose between the God of the OT (fear). Vs. Jesus.(love) Though as a Christian I disagree with that assessemnt but for the sake of argument let's go with that. Fear in total did not work. He made the wrong choice. They were best when they manipulated people together. Love and fear combined. They were a team. This fool was power tripping because he was the president. And forgot what got him there. It wasn't just fear.

Overall, def. the worst season. Started off very strong but fell of until the last episode.

Elephant cac called son a chauffeur :snoop:

:russ:at Elephant cac.

That was a fukked up scene. I can understand how it got Remy shook.

As far as him quitting, I feel like the show is showing how difficult being Chief of Staff is. With Stamper, he basically can't have a family like his brother has. He basically lives to serve the President.

Besides it makes a way in the story for Stamper to come back.

I'm on episode 11. I scanned through the thread & I'm glad yall are enjoying it, but I'm not feeling this season at all. I'm very disappointed & this has been my favorite show.

This show is really missing

Stampler & Underwood together. That's suppose to be the team man.

Tell me why this show is basically The West Wing without any of the sympathetic characters now?

yea claire ruined him a few times... that's his weakness and the russian prez picked up on it early

"why do you care so much about my wife" :damn:

"cause you do" :umad:

if she'd have played her role and done what he said... a shytload of that stuff would have NEVER happened

appointing her was a mistake

her peace plan was a mistake

her making that speech was a mistake

and they all reflected negatively on him and make him fukk up deals and partnerships
Claires actions were kind of out of character for her , they were backstabbing cheating and shenanigans all the first 2 seasons , but she turned dumb this season . The focus should of been on getting Frank that nomination and reelection not her sudden costly ambitions . She had a chance to leave frank before she should of taken it if not she knew what she was in for

Am I the only one who thought Doug's storyline was the most intriguing? The actor kiilled his role.

And that scene with Rachel was the most disturbing shyt/a great edit. I was thinking about it at work days later...that cut to the shot of just her hair and ear in that grave :merchant:

i agree... had to rewind it a few times just to study the scene.. all his scenes were the bests of the season and that part just sealed it for me
